The Standard Sizedeck is standard tarot size of 2.75 in x 4.75 in (70 mm x 121 mm) printed on 350 GSM linen card stock in a eco-conscious facility. The standard deck comes in a magnetic enclosure box with a matte finish with gold detailing and keyword cards. Available in two edging options, Matte Gold or Sunshine Yellow*.
*Note on Card Edging: No matter how high quality the deck or the edging, whenever color is added to the edges of tarot cards the color will eventually diminish over time, especially if you are a riffle shuffler. Gold edging also wears faster than flat colored edging. So, if you are a riffle shuffler, we highly recommend the Sunshine Yellow option for heavy use. If you choose the Matte Gold edging, we recommend hand-over-hand shuffling to extend the life of your deck.
I absolutely adore the artwork. The match-up of the images to the tarot is utterly delightful; my friends love it. I have one quibble and frustration; the font and the small size of the explanation cards made me stop using it until I could get a magnifying glass and type them up. Most readings are in a slightly dark place and at 70, it's no fun to not be able to participate in a reading because I can't read the cards. But I've typed them up and now can use them again which pleases me.
